How to play Spider Solitaire

A swarm of ants is raiding your picnic. Stack the cards from King down to Ace to clear the blanket, one complete run at a time.

Stack King Down to Ace

Build descending runs from King down to Ace anywhere on the picnic blanket. A complete run lifts off and clears.
Move Whole Runs

Drag a single card or a stacked group of cards onto a higher card. On harder difficulties, multi-card moves require all cards in the group to share one suit.
Deal When Stuck

Tap the stock to deal one card to every column. The stock is limited, and Very Hard adds one extra deal to feed the four-suit round.
Clear the Blanket

Win by clearing every card off the blanket. Empty columns are precious. They take any card and break tough jams open.

Four difficulty levels

Every level keeps its own streak, best and high score, so climbing costs you nothing.

Easy: One suit. Build any rank-down stack and clear runs freely.
Medium: Two suits. Runs only move as a unit if they share a suit.
Hard: Four suits. The classic challenging Spider.
Very Hard: Four suits and an extra stock deal. A long, tough round.

How Spider Mini differs

Build King-Down Runs Stack cards from King down to Ace in descending order. A complete run lifts off the web and clears.
Drag to Move Drag any face-up card (or a valid stacked group) onto a higher-rank card. Empty columns accept any card.
Deal When Stuck Out of moves? Tap the stock to deal one new card to every column. The stock runs out after a few deals, so plan ahead.
Clear the Web Win by clearing every card off the web into completed runs. The smaller deck makes Spider Mini a quick, friendly round.

Every round of Spider Solitaire is generated, played and saved on your own device. There is no account, no sync and no server to reach, so it works the same on a plane, in a tunnel or with the phone in airplane mode.

There are four levels. Easy is "One suit. Build any rank-down stack and clear runs freely." Very Hard is "Four suits and an extra stock deal. A long, tough round." Your streak, best and high score are tracked separately for each level, so moving up never costs you what you earned lower down.
