How to play Word Weave
A lamplit loom of letter tiles. Drag a thread through neighboring letters to weave every hidden word, and the finished tiles rest as the loom clears.

Thread the Letters
Drag your finger from letter to letter to spell a word. Each step must touch the last tile - across, down, or diagonally - and a tile can only be used once per word.

Find Every Word
The loom hides a set of everyday words. Tap the word count under the loom to see what you have woven and how long the missing words are.

Earn the Spinner's Stars
Longer words fill the spool bar faster. Each star on the bar lends a perk: the first numbers every tile with how many words start there, and the second adds how many words run through it.

Let the Tiles Rest
When every word that runs through a tile has been found, that tile dims and rests. Rest every tile to finish the weave.

Spin Bonus Yarn
Every everyday word counts toward the weave - plurals and past tenses too. Rare and obscure words are never required; they land as bonus yarn, an extra tally the cottage keeps.

- A small 3x3 swatch with a nine-letter full weave, plus about a dozen words to find.
- Medium
- The full 4x4 loom. Words are four letters and up, twenty-odd to find.
- Hard
- A wide 5x5 loom hiding fifty-some words. The stars earn their keep here.
- Very Hard
- A grand 6x6 tapestry - nearly a hundred words. Settle in by the lamp.

Every round of Word Weave is generated, played and saved on your own device. There is no account, no sync and no server to reach, so it works the same on a plane, in a tunnel or with the phone in airplane mode.

How hard does Word Weave get?
There are four levels. Easy is "A small 3x3 swatch with a nine-letter full weave, plus about a dozen words to find." Very Hard is "A grand 6x6 tapestry - nearly a hundred words. Settle in by the lamp." Your streak, best and high score are tracked separately for each level, so moving up never costs you what you earned lower down.
