Off-Center Trims Down
Anything hanging past the edges of the layer below crumbles off. The next layer can only be as wide as what's left.

Land the layer dead-center to keep its full width and chain a bonus. Several perfects in a row even widen the cake.

Drop a layer that misses the stack entirely and the round ends. Your score is the number of tiers you stacked.
