How to play Pipe Flow

A spring at the top of a stone garden, a koi pond at the bottom. Tap each cobbled tile to rotate it and steer the brook from spring to pond.

Spring to Pond

Water flows from the spring at the top of the garden down to the koi pond at the bottom. Connect a continuous channel to win.
Tap to Rotate

Tap any cobbled tile to spin it ninety degrees. Match the openings on neighboring tiles so the brook keeps flowing.
Mind the Decoys

Some stones are dead-end decoys. Don't waste rotations chasing branches that can never reach the pond.
Connect to Win

Completing the channel from spring to pond wins the round and stretches your streak. Your rotation count is shown at the end, so plan a clean path.

Four difficulty levels

Every level keeps its own streak, best and high score, so climbing costs you nothing.

Easy: 5×5 garden. The brook stays mostly straight.
Medium: 6×7 garden. A few extra bends to puzzle out.
Hard: 7×9 garden. The path winds. More decoy stones.
Very Hard: 8×11 garden. A long winding brook through dense decoys.

Three brooks, three koi. Plus-stones let two streams pass.

How Three Springs differs

Three Springs, Three Ponds Three independent brooks share the same garden. Each spring along the top must reach its own koi pond along the bottom for the round to finish.
Tap to Rotate Tap any cobbled tile to spin it ninety degrees. Plus-shaped cross stones are fixed in place and let two streams pass through without mixing.
Streams Don't Mix Where two networks cross, the plus stones keep each brook's water on its own channel. A wrong rotation elsewhere can leak one stream onto another path.
All Three Connect to Win Every spring must reach its matching pond at the same time. Plan all three routes together. Your rotation count is shown at the end.

Pipe Flow plays completely offline

Every round of Pipe Flow is generated, played and saved on your own device. There is no account, no sync and no server to reach, so it works the same on a plane, in a tunnel or with the phone in airplane mode. Pipe Flow also takes its turn as the daily puzzle, one shared board a day that is identical on every device.

How hard does Pipe Flow get?

There are four levels. Easy is "5×5 garden. The brook stays mostly straight." Very Hard is "8×11 garden. A long winding brook through dense decoys." Your streak, best and high score are tracked separately for each level, so moving up never costs you what you earned lower down.
