How to play Kakuro
Cross Sums in a sunlit meadow. Fill each cell with 1â9 so every run of bees adds up to the nectar clue, and no digit repeats within a run.

Fill With 1 Through 9
Every empty cell holds a single digit, 1 through 9. The black corner-cells with two numbers are clue tiles, not playable.

Each Run Adds to Its Clue
A clue's bottom-left number is the sum for the row of cells to its right; the top-right number is the sum for the column below.

No Repeats in a Run
Within any single run of cells, every digit must be different. So a run summing to 6 in two cells must be 1+5 or 2+4, never 3+3.

Find the Forced Cells
Some sums only fit one combination. "3 in two cells" must be 1 and 2. Start there, then narrow the rest with column constraints.
Four difficulty levels
Every level keeps its own streak, best and high score, so climbing costs you nothing.

Every round of Kakuro is generated, played and saved on your own device. There is no account, no sync and no server to reach, so it works the same on a plane, in a tunnel or with the phone in airplane mode. There are four levels. Easy is "Compact 4Ã4 grids. Fewer runs, gentler clues." Very Hard is "Big honeycombs only. Long runs and sharp clues." Your streak, best and high score are tracked separately for each level, so moving up never costs you what you earned lower down.
